VIRTUAL TRAINING COMPANY ANNOUNCES
"AFTER EFFECTS ESSENTIALS"
VIDEO TRAINING CDs FOR
ADOBE® AFTER EFFECTS®

Series concentrates on learning the coolest tricks and tips
that are essential to mastering
the new version of Adobe After Effects

Winchester, VA, July 17, 2002 - Today VTC announced the release of Adobe After Effects Essentials. The new video/CD training series targets busy professionals that need to master programs quickly and efficiently.

Adobe After Effects is a highly respected 2D/3D compositing tool that offers an incredible range of capabilities to film/video producers, designers and animators. After Effects is considered to be THE program to know in today's motion graphics and effects world, and is widely used by visual-effects and design houses for film and video enhancements.

The new series is narrated by well-known, award-winning motion graphics designer Jayse Hansen. "I'm really excited about this new series. I poured my heart into this because this is the kind of instruction I always wished I'd had when I was starting out."

Jayse says that he kept his peers, colleagues and students in mind when he created the series, specifically when choosing content as examples. "I wanted to break away from the norm in computer instruction. I wanted to create a series where the examples were actually inspiring, easy to relate to and well-designed. This is definitely the coolest and most ESSENTIAL series to have if you're serious about learning After Effects."

Adobe After Effects Essentials focuses on new features, including efficient work-flow improvements, 3D development, parenting and expressions. Adobe After Effects Essentials is available both as an online course and as a two-CD set and offers over 9.5 hours of fast-paced, yet highly detailed instruction. The CD-ROM contains graphic files used by Jayse in the lessons, as well as demo plug-ins, extra goodies and support files contributed by motion graphic artists worldwide. The training supports Microsoft (MSFT) Windows NT/95/98/2000/XP and Apple (AAPL) Macintosh operating platforms.

The author has also set up a companion web site (http://training.jayse.us) which features updates, bonus tutorials and current news about the After Effects Essentials Series.

Jayse Hansen combines a background of music, drawing, fine-art photography, print, web design, writing and editing into his current motion graphics work. As a designer he has clients in the US, UK, South Africa and Canada including Coca Cola, Fox and HBO. He is a credentialed teacher and has taught numerous computer and design courses for Community Courses and the Los Angeles Unified School District.

The Virtual Training Company (http://www.vtc.com) started in Silicon Valley in 1996. The company was founded by Mark Vernon who came over from Great Britain to produce Training CDs, first for the Mac and then for all computer platforms. VTC grew quickly over the next three years and relocated in 1999 to the beautiful town of Winchester, Virginia where it now occupies a great spot on one of oldest open malls in the USA.

Now with offices in the US, Canada, UK, Australia, Asia, South Africa, France and China, VTC has grown to produce over 150 titles and 16,000 tutorials online.
